- UrbanMaidGreen was started by a (frustrated) corporate attorney obsessed with keeping his office clean and a serial entrepreneur with a very messy apartment. Concerned with the long-term health and environmental effects of traditional cleaning products and tired of sloppy home cleaning services, the two created UrbanMaidGreen to bring thorough, non-toxic, green cleaning to residences in New York City and outlying areas.

We are concerned about the health and environmental effects of using toxic, non-biodegradable cleaning agents in cramped New York City apartments. We use only safe, eco-friendly cleaning products that have the same effectiveness as traditional cleaning agents.

With your permission, in addition to our green cleaning, we refresh and revive a home with little treats such as heated scented oil during our cleaning or leaving some of our signature organic zebra mints as a surprise on your kitchen counter or pillow. Our efforts are designed to ensure that you return home to a comforting and serene retreat.
